Back in 2018, we started this whole thing in a cramped warehouse space with maybe ten members who believed in what we were building. Yeah, it wasn't fancy - just some iron, determination, and a vision that training should be different.
We've always thought that cookie-cutter programs don't cut it. Your body isn't the same as the person next to you, so why should your training be? That's why we focus on real athletic development - the kind that translates to actual performance, whether you're chasing a podium finish or just trying to keep up with your kids.
These days, we're proud to work with everyone from weekend warriors to pro athletes. What hasn't changed? We still believe in honest coaching, smart programming, and creating a space where people push limits without the ego trip.
The milestones that shaped who we are
Opened our doors on Granville Street with just 800 square feet and a dream. Started with strength training basics and a handful of clients who trusted the process.
Doubled our space and brought on three more coaches. Added our first Olympic lifting platform and started running group classes that actually challenged people.
Launched our sports-specific training programs. Worked with our first professional athlete who went on to compete nationally - that was a proud moment for sure.
Added our recovery suite after realizing people were training hard but not recovering smart. Sometimes the work you don't do in the gym matters just as much.
We're now home to over 300 members and a team of 8 dedicated coaches. Still in the same Vancouver neighborhood, still focused on results that matter.
The people who'll push you (in a good way)
Founder & Head Coach
Been coaching for 12 years and still get excited about helping someone hit a new PR. Competed in powerlifting back in the day, now I just help others get strong.
Focus: Strength Training, Olympic Lifting
Sports Performance Coach
Former track athlete who learned the hard way that training smart beats training hard every time. Now I make sure our athletes don't make the same mistakes I did.
Focus: Speed Training, Plyometrics
Strength & Conditioning Specialist
Played hockey semi-pro before getting into coaching. I'm all about building that explosive power and making sure you can actually use your strength when it counts.
Focus: Athletic Performance, Power Development
Mobility & Recovery Specialist
Spent years as a physio assistant before moving into coaching. If you can't move well, you can't train well - that's my whole philosophy right there.
Focus: Mobility Work, Injury Prevention
Nutrition Consultant
No BS nutrition advice here - just practical strategies that fit real life. You can't out-train a bad diet, but you also shouldn't be miserable eating chicken and broccoli forever.
Focus: Sports Nutrition, Body Composition
Group Fitness Lead
I run our group classes and love the energy when everyone's grinding together. Used to teach spin classes, now I design programs that actually build strength and conditioning.
Focus: Group Training, Metabolic Conditioning
